What is JuomaInfo?
JuomaInfo is an independent drink information, search and comparison service helping consumers find alcoholic and alcohol-free drinks available in Finland, compare products and prices, and explore places to buy.
Does JuomaInfo sell drinks?
JuomaInfo generally does not sell the drinks presented in the service itself. The actual seller is identified in connection with the place of purchase and order.
Is JuomaInfo an online store?
JuomaInfo is primarily a product discovery and comparison service rather than a single online store. It may later support functions connected to sellers' online stores.
Is JuomaInfo an Alko service?
No. JuomaInfo is independent of Alko. We display Alko’s products and prices as part of the range of drinks available in Finland and as reference information for comparisons with other retailers’ products and prices.
Are prices always current?
We aim to keep prices current, but sellers can change them quickly. Always check the final seller price before purchase.
Does the price include delivery?
Generally no. Product price and delivery charge are displayed separately where possible.
Does JuomaInfo show the cheapest price in Finland?
Not necessarily. “Lowest price in the JuomaInfo comparison” does not mean the cheapest price available from every seller in Finland or abroad.
Why are some sellers not included?
Only sufficiently reliable and comparable information can be included. JuomaInfo does not claim complete market coverage.
What is distance selling?
In distance selling, a foreign seller arranges or participates in arranging transport of the products to Finland.
What is distance purchasing?
On JuomaInfo, distance purchasing covers two ways of buying from a foreign seller: collecting the drinks abroad yourself and personally bringing them to Finland for your own use as a traveller, or independently arranging a transport company to bring them to Finland without the seller’s involvement. Different tax rules apply to these two methods.
Can alcoholic beverages be delivered to my home?
Availability depends on the seller, product, address and delivery service. JuomaInfo displays verified options.
What is a JuomaInfo Collection Point?
It is a participating location that may receive and hand over an order when supported by the seller and delivery method. The network is being prepared for early 2027.
Is an ordinary Posti or Matkahuolto point a JuomaInfo Collection Point?
Not automatically. A JuomaInfo Collection Point is a location specifically participating in the service and suitable for the relevant handover.
Does JuomaInfo include alcohol-free drinks?
Yes. JuomaInfo also includes alcohol-free products. A 0.0% mode is being developed for alcohol-free-only browsing.
Why does JuomaInfo use commercial links?
JuomaInfo is free for consumers and is funded partly through commercial cooperation. It may receive remuneration from purchases made through partners.
Does commission affect price comparison?
Commission does not change the actual product price or objective comparison criteria. Paid additional visibility is disclosed separately.
Do I need to register?
Basic browsing generally does not require an account. An account may later enable personal features.
Do I need an account for the newsletter?
No. Newsletter subscription is a separate voluntary choice.
How can I report an error?
Use the feedback function to report an incorrect price, product detail or product match.
How a seller/merchant can join JuomaInfo?
Business cooperation information is available through DrinkData at drinkdata.eu.
